Fundraising
Since 2020, the Foundation has awarded several scholarships to help cover college and academic expenses. We have donated new sports equipment, helped fund athletes attend development camps as well as donate to local youth organizations, local families in need and nonprofit organizations to help breast cancer research and victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and trauma. Last year, we were able to raise $50,000 during the 2025 annual golf tournament and we have set an exciting goal of raising $55,000 in 2026.
Your support for the Mike Capasso Foundation is invaluable to us!There are several ways you can help make our annual golf fundraiser a success.

Together, let’s build a legacy of opportunity, support, and community—one story at a time.
From equipment, training, and travel to uniforms and tournament fees --sports can come with a hefty price tag. And higher education? It’s one of life’s most important, yet most expensive, investments.
At the Mike Capasso Foundation, we believe no child should ever have to say, “I can’t play because I can’t afford it.” And no student should be held back from reaching their full potential because of financial barriers.
This scholarship honors the legacy of Mike Capasso ~ a father, coach, mentor, and friend ~ whose generosity and unwavering support for others continues to inspire.
We believe that helping others isn’t just a kind gesture, it’s a way of life that leaves a lasting impact. We want to hear from students who carry that same spirit.

“As you think about the next ten years of your life, where do you see yourself, and how will you use your journey to positively impact others?”
